On Sunday, July 15th Richmond’s Event Industry Professionals gathered together at “The Industry Event” at The Rice House. This event was like no other! First, the venue was hip and chic and made you feel like you were in a whole other city. The experts at McBride Events coordinated a wonderfully themed party around “The Bunny Club”. Some ladies came dressed like “bunnies” from the 60’s & 70’s and men came dressed in smoking jackets or their finest duds!

This group of attendees is used to putting on the event so they really kicked back partied to “Three Sheets to The Wind” and enjoyed amazing food and cocktails from Mosaic Cafe and Catering.

We must also mention The Knot and The Science Musuem of Virginia for their help with this grand event.

Hayes & Fisk knew this event was going to be special so we wanted to sponsor a room where guest could come and have their picture taken with a “bunny”. Jamie spent three hours capturing great shots and we want to share them with you!

We are going to let the pictures for this wedding speak for themselves but here is just a little background.

The bride and groom are from Richmond but wanted to get marriend in New York City, so they flew their closest friends and family to New York for a weekend they will never forget! The bride planned every part of this beautiful wedding and no detail was left unturned. We hope you enjoy…

We are so honored to share this special wedding with you! Castine and Eric are a magnificent couple and we feel so lucky to have been part of their special day!

Castine is a vendor in our industry and ever since she met us she said she would meet her husband one day and we would photograph the wedding…and well that day has come so we traveled to Los Angeles to capture every special moment!

With help from family and friends they planned every detail of their wedding themselves. They planned an entire weekend of festivities, including renting out a B&B so everyone could stay together.

Details:

Castine’s favorite moment(s) from the wedding: There was a tie between the donkey baying in the middle of the ceremony and cracking everyone up and the Soul Train Dance Line that never seemed to end!
