Capture Richmond Holiday Traditions on Your Smartphone, Win Prizes
with our #RVAHolidays Instagram Challenge

Hayes and Fisk Photography is celebrating the spirit of the season with an Instagram challenge to capture the best of Richmond during the holidays. Whether it’s celebrating the Grand Illumination at the James Center or hunting for the best fir or pine at the neighborhood tree sale, Richmonders can upload and tag their favorite family traditions using #RVAHolidays for a chance to win more than $500 in prizes.

“There’s so much to do in Richmond this time of year,” said Mary Fisk-Taylor of Hayes & Fisk. “We thought it would be fun to invite people to share how they like to spend the holidays in River City.”

HOW TO ENTER
Entries can be submitted by uploading photos to Instagram and tag each with the hashtag #RVAHolidays. The Instagram app can be downloaded for free on your Apple or Android smartphone. Photo submissions will be accepted until December 11. Winners will be announced on December 18.

Hayes and Fisk will evaluate the submissions based on their merit and announce the winning photos on their Facebook page on December 18. “Almost everyone has a smartphone, but it takes a little effort to take a winning photo with it,” said Fisk-Taylor. “A few tips, like ignoring your zoom feature and looking for good lighting, can go a long way.”
