Family portraits serve several purposes. They document the growth of children, they are photographs that will be displayed for your guests to see and they serve as memories that help bring you back in time. What we do know is life happens – so take the time to document the memories that show your family ties. We promise you won’t regret it.

And yes we know you have 1000 pictures on your iPhone but once you post them on Facebook once, who really sees them? That is why we suggest hiring a professional photographer to capture those specifics moments in time that you want to last forever.

At Hayes & Fisk Photography, we promise to make your portrait session a memory in and of itself. We will guide you through the steps of preparing for the session. We will offer advice on what to wear and we can help you pick the perfect location. We have an indoor studio and beautiful outdoor gardens but we are also happy to come on location. We can do it at your house, in your backyard or somewhere special that means something to your family. We also have several places around Central Virginia that we can suggest for the perfect background. Mary & Jamie are masters at making you feel comfortable and letting you get the most out of your session while s producing beautiful pictures. We will guide you through every step of the process – from prep to selecting the perfect images to even coming to your house to help you find the perfect spot to hang your portraits.
