Classic Bridal Portraits | Richmond, VA

Now that Louise’s Wedding has taken place we can share her classic bridal portraits with you. Before her wedding Louis visited our Parham Road Studio to have her bridal portraits taken and she was a natural behind the camera. She was so at ease and we just love how her portraits turned out.

Not every bride does a traditional bridal portrait session any more, but when our brides decide to do so they are always to happy they did. Your bridal portrait day serves as the perfect opportunity to learn to feel comfortable in your dress and practice your hair and make-up. It also gives you one more chance to get comfortable in front of the camera before your big day.

Whether you choose to put your portraits on canvas, have an oil portrait commissioned or simply print the images to frame – you will definitely treasure these images forever.

Dover Hall Wedding | Lauren & Justin

Today we have Lauren & Justin’s Dover Hall Wedding to share with you. This lovely couple was married on April 2, 2016. The ceremony took place at Shady Grove United Methodist Church followed by the reception at Dover Hall Estate in Manakin Sabot, Virginia.

The girls had a wonderful time getting ready in the Bridal Suite at Dover Hall. Lou Stevens Glam Squad got the girls ready ready for the big day while the guys chilled out in the billiard’s room.

From the wedding party to guests, everyone had a terrific time celebrating Lauren & Justin as they said “I do”.

American Heart Association Heart Ball

Once again, the American Heart Association Heart Ball was an absolute success. This year’s theme was Fortune of the Heart  – and I think the pictures speak for themselves; but Mosaic Catering & Events knocked it out of the park.

In the event industry we always say it is “All about the Details” and in these case, Mosaic didn’t leave any detail left untouched. From the moment you walked up to the Science Museum of Virginia until you made it back to the seated dinner, the theme and decor was totally on point.

Mary was honored this year, to serve on the event’s Auction Committee. And Hayes & Fisk was thrilled to put together an auction item for the live auction. Together with the dedication and commitment of every committee member and the generous people of Central Virginia we once again raised over $1,000,000.00.

Kudos to everyone that put in the time and effort to make this such a wonderful evening – we are already looking forward to 2017!
