Engagement Session at Maymont Park

What’s not to love about this Engagement Session at Maymont Park in Richmond, Virginia! Tikia and Homer will be married this December and they choose to have engagement photos taken to celebrate this special time in their lives.

We are fortunate to have so many beautiful venues around Richmond for Engagement Photo Shoots; and Maymont is just one of those gorgeous locations.

Maymont was given to Richmonders by James and Sallie Dooley, who lived here from 1893 through 1925. They wanted Maymont to be preserved so that new generations could enjoy it as much as they did. Whether strolling through the gardens, touring the mansion, watching river otters play, petting a goat or picnicking on the lawn, Maymont is a gift of 100 acres for all to enjoy.

Tikia and Homer’s pictures were taken in the gardens and we think they serve as the perfect backdrop for this session.
