Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Senior Portrait Session

We are so in love with Meghann’s Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Senior Portrait Session. The Maes have been part of the Hayes & Fisk for many years and we were thrilled to photograph this session.

Meghann is a very accomplished harpist so she knew that she wanted her harp to be the centerpiece of her portraits. The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, located in Richmond, VA was the perfect backdrop for this very special session.

We photographed inside, outside, upstairs, downstairs, during light and as it was getting dark. And in the end, there is no way we could pick our favorite setting. Each one spoke to us and Meghann’s smile and demeanor suited each backdrop just perfectly.

We are certain that Meghann and her family will treasure these images for many years to come.

Graduating high school is the biggest milestone in a teenagers’ life. For many, it signals the first time they will be leaving home to attend college, setting out to travel the world or preparing for a “real” job. It is definitely a time when you want to put these memories on paper. So we hope you will consider hiring a professional photographer when we are ready to document your family’s next important milestone.

Botanical Gardens + Beach Engagement Session

Audrey and Miguel opted for a Botanical Gardens + Beach Engagement Session and we couldn’t have been more pleased with how their images turned out. We traveled to Norfolk Botanical Garden and Virginia Beach for their session and we are so glad we did! The gardens were the perfect backdrop for this fun loving couple and you know we will never turn down a beach session. Both locations were special to the couple and you can really see the love they have for each other in the images below.

We love all of our couples but Audrey has a special place in the Hayes & Fisk family. Not only have we been photographing Audrey for her whole life, but Jamie also photographed her parent’s wedding 20 years ago. There is nothing more special than our clients that trust us for all of their special milestones.

We cannot wait to photograph Audrey and Miguel’s Wedding next year!

Capturing Milestones with Parker Lisi

Today’s post is titled Capturing Milestones with Parker Lisi, and this is one of the most special parts of our job. Even after all of these years, we are humbled every time a client chooses us to capture the special milestones in their lives.

We have been photographing Sarah (Parker’s mom) since she was 13 years old. We photographed many of Sarah’s milestones, including her wedding and maternity photos. We also photographed Parker’s newborn session which you can view by clicking here.

We feel so fortunate to now have the opportunity to capture Parker during his first year, while he is changing so much each month. Below you will find images from his 3, 6 and 9-month sessions. These images are moments in time that can never be captured again. Sarah and Lee and so lucky to now have these memories that they can cherish for a lifetime. Whether you share them on social media, create a canvas collage, make a coffee table book or have us design an oil portrait; you will have these images to keep these special memories alive.
