Last Saturday was a full circle day as we photographed Audrey and Miguel’s wedding. Many years ago, Jamie photographed Audrey’s parents’ wedding and now he has had to honor and privilege of photographing her and Miguel’s special day.
However, before the wedding, we also did her bridal portraits and their engagement session. Today we are sharing the images from her bridal session. We have been anxiously waiting to share these gorgeous images with you.
Audrey’s mom, Terry, was on hand to help her during this session. She even made the bouquet you see in the images below. It truly seems like only yesterday that Jamie photographed Terry and Jerry’s wedding. We have also photographed Audrey as a child, and she was one of Jamie’s first award-winning children. She had the most beautiful long hair, unusually long, as a matter of fact, it was her signature look. She would hold her head gracefully to the side to keep her locks from falling into her eyes. He remembers Terry saying that she wouldn’t think of cutting her hair until she absolutely had to. Now Audrey still has that same beauty as an adult.
At the bottom of the finished images, you will see a few outtakes, including Audrey’s locket. This locket was worn by her great grandmother, grandmother, and mom. What a wonderful something old and something borrowed. If Audrey is blessed with a daughter one day, we are sure she will be the next to wear this beautiful family heirloom.
Stayed tuned for the post of Audrey & Miguel’s wedding in the coming weeks.
