This Hurt Family Portrait Session was so much FUN! We met Sally when she had her son, Patrick, model for our Black & White Sports Project. After seeing our family portraits she knew she needed one of her family.
Her oldest son was about to leave for college so she knew this was the perfect time to capture the whole family. At the time, she could have never predicted what Covid would bring. Under the circumstances, this portrait session was even more special.
After listening to Sally’s vision for this installation, we both decided that their backyard was the perfect setting for this session. She had also selected the location where the portrait would be displayed. It was her favorite room, where she could sit back, relax, enjoy a glass of wine, and read a good book. All of these things would be even more enjoyable with a portrait of her family. Filled with family heirlooms, this room would be a special place just for her.
This family knows how to have a good time! Their backyard was full of spaces to get outdoors and be active. From a jungle gym to a batting cage to a pool; they had everything you need to have fun. Just looking at their backyard, Jamie knew they were going to create something spectacular and that they did! At the end of the session, everyone jumped in the pool, fully clothed. It was the perfect ending to a great family session.
Now is the perfect time to book as a session for your family portrait! Call the studio today to set up your consultation.
