Today we are sharing the Cheely Family Portrait Session with you. Cindy came to Hayes & Fisk with a gift certificate she had won. She was very excited to update her family’s portrait because they had not done so since Hunter was a little boy. 

During our design session, we learned that Hunter would be graduating in a few years. We knew that this was the perfect time to capture their family portrait. We are all too familiar with that feeling of our children leaving for college. At that moment we try and hold on to every memory and family portraits are a great way to do just that. 

As a 16-year-old boy, Hunter was not super thrilled about sitting for a portrait session. However, he soon realized that this really meant a lot to his mom and dad. We finally brought a little humor to the session and Hunter worked through his poses. Jamie saw the moment when Hunter relaxed. He began to laugh and he had a huge smile on his face. By the end, he admitted it wasn’t so bad, after all.

We were all thrilled to get the perfect pose and expression for the portrait that would soon hang above their fireplace. Once again, creating the perfect memory for this family.
