We just love this Wright Senior Portrait Session. We have literally watched the Wright boys grow up in front of our camera. From the beach to our gardens to the University of Richmond, it has been a wonderful journey.
This session was for Graham’s senior portraits. We captured his brother Harrison’s a few years back and the family wanted something as wonderful for Graham. This is such an important and memorable time and it should definitely be documented to enjoy for years to come.
We choose the James River as the perfect location for this shoot. Graham mentioned that he spent a lot of time on Belle Isle, so we thought it would be the perfect place to capture these memories and take advantage of the beautiful surroundings.
First, we began the session in the parking lot, under the train trusses, and then we walked along the bridge to Belle Isle. Working around visitors, we made our way to the island. Here we were able to take advantage of the field of tall grasses, rusted ruins, and of course the view of the Richmond skyline. We were able to find the perfect background to coordinate with each outfit change. The session ended under the 12th Street Bridge with its amazing architectural elements. This suited his vintage Midlothian Soccer shirt perfectly.
In the end, we were able to grab a few shots of Graham and Harrison together. It was the perfect way to send this session. It was so wonderful to see these boys again with their parents sharing a very happy moment.
