Another perfect Moody Family Portrait Session! These annual sessions have become a tradition for the Moody Family. Each session results in a 20×24 canvas portrait and this one will be the perfect addition to their collection. Each canvas represents both the physical and emotional changes in the children from year to year. These are memories that will tell a story through pictures as they grow up and have their own families. 

Both Carrington and Parrish have grown up so much over the past year. The studio images turned out absolutely beautiful, but the images in the garden truly show their personalities. Their outfits were throughout and they looked adorable together. 

Photography the Moody family is always a treat. We love watching the children enjoy the simple things in life – a laugh, a smile, a run around the garden. These are memories that Kim, Andrew, and the children will cherish forever.

We love photographing this family and this Koehne Family Garden Portrait Session was no different! We could not believe how much William and Isabella had grown since our last session. They are so fortunate to have parents that value the importance of documenting these important family milestones. 

Coordinating the decor and colors of the newly renovated Koehne family room, we chose a pastel blue palette for this session. It served as the perfect complement to our lush green gardens.

These children have the best personalities. Isabella is an absolute joy to watch. She was definitely in command, which was the opposite of her laid-back brother. They were the perfect complement to each other and you could see how much love they had between the two of them. 

We worked our way through the garden as we captured different poses. We documented the kids individually, as well as together. Also, we took some beautiful pictures of the whole family. Each picture will serve as a memory they can enjoy for years to come. 

This session also included portrait delivery and installation. Seeing the family’s reaction is our favorite part. While Freya and Michael were a joy to watch, seeing the amazing, bright eyes of the little ones as they looked at the family portrait, absolutely melted our hearts. These are definitely memories that will last a lifetime for this family.

The Shepley Family Garden Portraits produced some beautiful images. We are excited to share this post with you today. Amanda and Brian came to us wanting a family portrait to cover their newly renovated family room.

Together we selected a blue and white color palette. The family wore denim to keep a more relaxed feel that aligns with their active outdoor lifestyle. Based on the size and location of the wall where the portraits would hang, we decided on a horizontal portrait with a smaller grouping of images surrounding the main canvas. We knew it would all go perfectly with the design and style of their home.

The weather was perfect for the day of their garden session. The boys were primed for a little fun and they did great in front of the camera. However, we think our candy bar and toy box definitely helped. Their puppy Hattie made a great addition to the family portrait session. She was absolutely adorable and knew exactly how to strike a pose. 

The family enjoyed the session and Brian complimented us on how quickly and smoothly the day went. We understand that when working with families, it is important to respect everyone’s time and make it an enjoyable time for all. Throughout the session, we enjoyed watching how each of them interacted with each other, there is definitely plenty of love between them.

Working with the Shepleys was an absolute pleasure. From the first consultation to installation day, we can say this was a total success. Watching Amanda’s expression as we installed their portraits reminded us of why we do this job each day. There is nothing more special than seeing a family portrait hanging on the wall for all to enjoy.
