We absolutely love this Family Heirloom Portrait Session. Tiffany and Joe knew this was the perfect time to document what was going on in the lives of them and their two sons. Over the years, the Conners had done a good job of capturing life’s important milestones. However, busy schedules had recently gotten in the way. They knew now was the time to preserve this important time in their lives.

With a visit to Tiffany and Joe’s beautiful home, we had a clear vision for the color palette, background, and location for the mail oil portrait. We were fortunate that the front of their home encompassed all of the colors and depth we were looking for. We knew that with the perfect outfit choices, we could create stunning portraits that would complement their decor.

The session was fast and fun. We loved getting to know the boys. Along with their dad, they share a love of baseball. We usually present our clients with fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies. However, this time we opted for a more personal gift. We made a call to our friend and famous sports photographer and presented them with some never before seen images of their favorite players. It was a great way to start the session.

We could not have asked for a better day. For the main oil images, we captured more formal poses on their beautiful front lawn. Then we moved to the back yard seeking a more casual style. Here, Tiffany’s mom joined us for a few shots.

This session produced stunning portraits of both boys, as well as a beautiful family heirloom portrait. Along with their existing art, we put together the perfect combination of oil portraiture for their living room.

This Rosen Senior Portrait Session turned out great! Hayes & Fisk has been photographing the Rosen family for years, so we were thrilled to capture Ethan’s Senior Portraits. We began photographing Ethan when he was a baby.  Itt came full circle as we captured this special moment in time, as he prepares to head off to college. We have documented so many monumental moments for this family and we are so happy to continue this journey.

Ethan had several outfit changes that were authentic to his personality. Throughout the session, he went from casual to formal to fun. After years of coming to our studio, Ethan was comfortable in front of the camera. We laughed and joked our way through each outfit and setting change until we were certain we had captured everything they had envisioned for this session.

Some of our favorite images are the causal ones as Ethan jumped out of his Jeep with his baseball cap on. This seemed to be the authentic Ethan. They represented who he is as a seventeen-year-old getting ready to go off to college.

It has been our pleasure watching the Rosen boys grow up in front of our camera and we cannot wait to document the next chapters of their lives.

If you have a child entering their senior year of high school, give us a call. We are happy to start the consultation process and get your child’s session schedule. These are moments that should be captured to enjoy for years to come.

What a beautiful Mother and Son Portrait Session! We first met Cheryl and Jack when we photographed him for our Black and White Sports Project. We were thrilled when they returned for this garden session. Cheryl wanted to capture this memory for an 11×14 Heirloom Canvas. Our garden, in the fall, served as the perfect backdrop for this session. The colors and textures were a perfect complement to their living room decor.

Mom looked amazing in her caramel coat and knee-high boots. Jack’s attire coordinated perfectly with both his mother and the colors of the garden in the fall. For this session, our goal was to capture Jack at this special age and create a lasting memory of this moment in time. Jack will be off to college in just a few years, so this was the perfect time to capture these special memories.

During this session, we worked our way through the garden. We started under the gazebo, capturing the depth and color complexity that we were hoping for. Then we move on to the open are capturing images of both mother and son, and a few of Jack by himself.

The love between Cheryl and Jack is evident in each of these images. Jack was reluctant, at first, to let his smile shine through, but as soon as he got comfortable in front of the camera, he was able to let his personality shine. They will definitely treasure these images for years to come.
