This Love Family Heirloom Session turned out great! Mandi thought this was the perfect time to capture her two boys before they got any older. James was a high school senior, getting ready to move to the next chapter in his life, while Joe finished out high school. Mom wanted to make sure the boys had a lasting memory of each other and the three of them as a family. Together we decided on two timeless oil portraits. One black and white and one in our garden with the golden colors of fall.

The outfits selected for the environmental oil portrait perfectly reflected their personalities. These portraits were happy, fun, and had a true sense of brotherhood.

We all had a blast with this session. It was full of laughter and lots of goofing around. The boys were really intrigued with how Jamie was lighting them with an amber gel to compliment the colors of the session. We all know that when Jamie is asked questions about photography, he is more than happy to talk about his true love and passion.

After we finished in the garden, we moved inside for some family shots. We captured each boy individually, as well as them together and with mom. The boys were more than happy to oblige and had a great attitude throughout the entire session.

Their installation was seamless and we could not wait to surprise Mandi, James, and Joe with the results. Together, these portraits created a true sense of home, family, and togetherness.
