We just love this Edwards Beach Portrait Session! We first met Chrissy in 2020 when we photographed her and her dogs in our garden and down by the James River. When she called about doing our beach project we were immediately excited to have an opportunity to capture the love of Chrissy and her two dogs once again. The images from the first session were so amazing, we knew we had a lot to live up to.

Together we worked hard to find this perfect Virginia Beach location. It turned out to serve as the perfect backdrop for this session.

Chrissy was her usual bubbly and adorable self and her prize-winning Golden Retrievers were adorable as ever. We started at the end of the beach walkway, using the architectural elements of the decking and old split rail fencing. Then we progressed to the water’s edge where we capture several beautiful images.

Each shot led to another great image. Chrissy has such great command over both Parker and Swayze. They listened to every command and it allowed for the session to flow effortlessly. One of our favorite shots happened when the wind caught Chrissy’s hat and she had to hold it with both hands. It was in that instant we knew we had several images that would live up to the first session with Chrissy and her dogs.
