Hayes & Fisk

Another terrific Street Family Studio Session! We just love it when longtime clients, Amy and Jamie, bring their children in for us to photograph. For this session, we were recreating a canvas portrait for Alex. We cannot believe he is one year old! Mom and dad wanted a portrait to match similar ones we have created for his older siblings. These images are displayed upstairs in their home and they wanted one for each child. 

When we recreate sibling imagery, we know we can match the lighting and tonality of the portraits. With over 25 years of lighting setup experience, it comes naturally to us. The unknown is always with the person in front of the camera. Our hope is to also capture a similar pose and expression for each of the portraits. We were fortunate that Alex was such a great subject. 

Jackson and Caitlin helped Alex get comfortable during the session. We worked quickly to get the perfect shot and then we were able to capture some fun family photos. 

Photographing longtime clients is part of what makes our job so special. There is nothing like watching children grow up, photographing their wedding and other special moments, and then getting to photograph their children. These sessions fill out hearts and keep us coming back every day.
