So many of our graduating high school seniors from this year are trying to wrap up everything before heading off to college in the fall. One of those items on the to-do list is making sure to be included in the last high school yearbook and documenting this momentous accomplishment.

Sarah Jane’s session included not only the yearbook drape pose but also a few of her favorite outfits and different looks. You can’t go wrong with a simple classic white top and blue jeans. This look never goes out of style and looks great on everybody. We especially loved how the lush green textures and foliage, from our custom-designed photographic gardens, contrasted with Sarah Jane’s crisp white shirt.

One of our most popular garden areas is our long weathered wood fence, with its long leading lines and slight hill incline. It simply makes each senior feel right at home, adding a great dynamic yet comfortable look. This was one of Jenny’s favorite poses and was the main portrait image. Moving on to her red, black, and dark grey dress, with very stylish ankle books, we finished up outdoors and headed into the studio to capture some indoor poses that truly show her personality and fun side.

Sarah Jane was so easy to work with and she had a great time here with us. Now she is ready to start the next chapter of her life. We are so happy that Jenny made the time to capture this fleeting and ever-so-important milestone of Sarah Jane’s life.

We are so fortunate in what we do…seriously we have the best jobs ever! We get to photograph some of the most treasured moments in the lives of our clients. Summer is here and we are ready for our Heirloom Beach Portrait Sessions. Are you and your loved ones heading to the sea this summer? Let’s plan your perfect portrait session together.

Mary and Jamie are so excited to be back at the beach, creating beautiful family portraits. We will capture your summer memories so you can treasure them forever.

Look at the smiles in the pictures below. Everyone loves spending time at the beach, so this makes for the perfect time to capture these memories. Kids are happy, adults are relaxed, and everyones’ skin is glowing from the sun. Our clients tell us that their beach sessions are some of their favorite pictures of their family.

If you don’t have a beach vacation planned, but think this is a great idea, we encourage you to call your family and plan a long weekend. This is a great way to get all of your extended family together to enjoy some time together while making new memories that will last a lifetime.

You will typically find us at Virginia Beach and The Outer Banks, but we are open to scheduling time at other locations. Our clients know we LOVE to travel, so as long as it works in our schedule we will make it happen.
