Day 2 of Engage!13 : Biltmore Estate was just as much, if not more, than we expected. We heard from many familiar faces and a few new industry experts. They shared insights and best practices; and provided the perfect reminders and motivation to learn new ways to continue to grow our business and make it even better for our clients. We are so excited to get back and incorporate a few new ideas into Hayes & Fisk Photography.

On Day 2 of Engage! we always get to enjoy a “Dine Around” where each attendee gets paired with an “industry experts (mostly speakers)” so you can have smaller group discussions and learn in a more intimate setting.

Well Engage!13 is off to a great start. So far we have completed registration (which of course includes receiving our AWESOME SWAG Bags), attended the Opening Session and now we are calling it a night after the Opening Party.

For those that may not know, Engage! is a Luxury Wedding Summit that takes place twice a year at some of the most exquisite hotels like The Breakers, The Grand Del Mar and now The Biltmore. Engage! brings together the industry’s top leaders so they can share ideas that will take their business to the next level. And while these three and half days are full of over the top “experiences” we go back each year because we know that we will leave being able to make our business better for our customers. This is Hayes & Fisk’s fourth time attending and we are looking forward another fabulous event!

The Biltmore Estate is absolutely gorgeous and Kathryn and Rebecca have once again, outdid themselves.

As many of you know Hayes & Fisk Photography recently went through the process of rebranding. As we mentioned in our original post, the core of Hayes & Fisk will always stay the same, we were just ready for a new, fresh look; and every so often it is good to take a hard look at how you are running your business.

We all get so busy that we don’t have time to self reflect and take a hard look at changes that might need to be made. When things are working it is difficult to see the need to analyze your business from the inside out. (and the same can be true in your personal life).

Now that the new website and blog are LIVE, we are using our new logo and our collateral is ready to go we thought it would be fun to look at the old vs. new.

I don’t know about you but we LOVE the NEW! And we send a HUGE shout out to Lara Casey and Emily Ley of Making Brands Happen – these two ladies are more than amazing and they were great guides through this process. We couldn’t have done it without them!
