We thought this Spring Family Newborn Session was the perfect way to kick off the new year. One thing we are grateful for is our relationship with VCU Health System. Their wonderful doctors and nurses have been so amazing. We get so much joy from creating beautiful portraits for these amazing front line workers and patients of the hospital.
Tammy saw our work in Labor & Delivery at VCU’s main hospital. She and Andrew called us on as soon as their daughter was born. Mom and dad were told that they would not be able to have children so this little bundle of love and joy was truly a miracle in every sense of the word.
During our initial phone conversation, we quickly realized that we would need to visit their home before we made suggestions as to the style of the portrait. Their home is really modern, yet vintage and they are lovers of art, so we wanted to make sure we styled the perfect portrait. We knew as soon as we walked into their house, that we would be able to create exactly what they were looking for. Their home was a cross between Frank Lloyd Wright and Asian Gardens and a modern art gallery. Every room was perfectly appointed with a gorgeous and varied collection of art. Needless to say, we were so excited to be creating for clients with room to add our work to their art collection.
The session itself was so easy. Scarlet allowed us to arrange her in each and every position without protest. Just makes our heart smile to see the love between a mother, father, and newborn baby.
Happy New Year from Hayes & Fisk!
